Lind & Co is a
well-established Swedish publishing house, part of the Storytel group. As one
of the leading audiobook publishers in the Nordic countries, we are steadily
growing and also publish digital books in Polish, Dutch, Bulgarian, and
Italian.
We are now looking for a
talented professional to help us expand our audiobook offering in Estonia. The
right candidate is a fluent Estonian speaker (native level or equivalent) who
is excited to shape the future of audiobooks in a dynamic and international
publishing environment.
We are especially
interested in someone who is passionate about great stories and audiobooks. Our
focus is on commercial fiction (crime, thrillers, romance, and feelgood) as
well as biographies and true crime.
Previous publishing
experience is an advantage but not a requirement. What matters most is your
sense for great stories, strong organizational skills, ability to negotiate,
and a genuine interest in the business side of the audiobook industry.
Please
note: we are only considering candidates who speak Estonian fluently.
Knowledge
of Swedish is a strong plus.
Your main
responsibilities will include:
Discovering
and evaluating new Estonian titles
Building
and maintaining relationships with Estonian publishers, agencies, and authors
Coordinating
with translators, editors, and graphic designers
Planning
and scheduling publishing dates
Collaborating
with audiobook studios
Managing
and updating metadata
Monitoring
and analysing sales performance
Handling
invoicing and related administration
We offer you a unique
opportunity to join a financially stable and internationally successful
publishing house, where creativity meets solid business growth. You will be
part of a supportive team of about thirty book enthusiasts, while also making a
direct impact on the development of the Estonian audiobook market.
This is a full-time
position with a flexible start date, preferably as soon as possible.
Please send your
application (in English), CV and salary request to Tiina Kristoffersson, tiina@lindco.se no later than September 28, 2025. Applications will be reviewed on a
rolling basis, and the position will remain open until filled.
